Short description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager with fluent German language skills to join our team. As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the testing activities of our projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Job description

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for each project.

Define and document test objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.

Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage.

Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on project specifications.

Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Monitor and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

Report on testing progress, status, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure a smooth integration of testing activities within the project lifecycle.

Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to software testing and quality assurance.

Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Test Manager or in a similar role.

Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with German-speaking stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.

Experience in leading and managing testing teams, including resource allocation and workload management.

Proficiency in creating test strategies, plans, and test cases.

Familiarity with various testing types, such as functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects and issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
